These Terms of Service govern your use of the Brendon Bridge Studios website and any enquiry, order or purchase made through the studio.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue your use of the website.

Brendon Bridge Studios is an independent artist studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The website presents original artworks, limited-edition works, exhibitions, commissions and related studio information.

We aim to describe and display every artwork as accurately as reasonably possible. Colours may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and your device display.

Measurements are provided as accurately as possible but may be approximate. Any frame shown in a photograph is included only when expressly stated in the artwork description.

Original artworks are unique. Their availability cannot be guaranteed until the studio has confirmed your order or purchase.

Submitting an order or enquiry does not automatically guarantee that an artwork is available. A binding sale is formed only once the studio has confirmed the order and received the required payment.

We may decline or cancel an order where an artwork is unavailable, pricing information is incorrect, payment cannot be verified or fraud is reasonably suspected. If payment has already been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or in the relevant quotation. Delivery, insurance, framing, duties and taxes may be charged separately unless expressly included.

Payment must be made through an approved payment method or according to the payment instructions supplied by the studio. Ownership of an artwork transfers only once full payment has cleared.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by packaging requirements, destination, courier availability, customs or events outside the studio's reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Any additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information may be charged to you.

International buyers are responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Please inspect your artwork as soon as it arrives. If it appears to have been damaged during delivery, retain the original packaging and contact the studio promptly, preferably within 48 hours.

Include your order information and clear photographs of the artwork, packaging and damage. We will assess the matter and arrange an appropriate remedy where applicable.

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with applicable South African consumer law and any return conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

Unless required by law or agreed otherwise in writing, personalised works, commissioned artworks and items made to your specifications may not be returned merely because you have changed your mind.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory right or remedy available to you under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Commissioned work may be subject to a separate written quotation, deposit requirement, production schedule and commission agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, deposits may become non-refundable once work has commenced or studio resources have been committed, subject always to applicable law.

Purchasing an artwork gives you ownership of the physical artwork. It does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the work.

Brendon Bridge retains all copyright and reproduction rights unless those rights are expressly transferred in a separate written agreement.

Website content, artwork images, text, graphics, branding and other materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative works without prior written permission.

You may use this website only for lawful personal or business enquiries relating to the studio. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website.
• Introduce malicious code or interfere with website operation.
• Scrape, extract or reproduce website content commercially.
• Misrepresent your identity or submit fraudulent information.
• Use the website in a manner that violates applicable law.

The website may contain links to or rely on third-party platforms, including payment, ecommerce, social media and delivery providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Brendon Bridge Studios is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside its reasonable control.

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brendon Bridge Studios will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts, without limiting any consumer right to approach another competent tribunal or regulatory body.

We may update these terms when the website, studio services or legal requirements change. The revised version will take effect when published on this page.
